How to Say Sorry to a Friend

At various times in our lives, we will do something to hurt someone else, even if it’s not intentionally. When we’ve done something to hurt a friend or someone close to us, we have to make an effort to make things right again. One way to do this is to tell your friend that you’re sorry for what happened. There will be times when a simple, “I’m sorry” will be all that’s needed and there will be times where your apology needs to be more thorough.

What is the Feeling of being in Love?

There are people who are afraid to fall in love as they don’t want to get hurt but can you control yourself when the cupids bow hits you?
There’s a little space between love and hatred as when you fall in love beside it are pain, tears, suffering that results with hatred. Though i don’t generalize it as there are people who will understand and respect the person when they decide to move out of the relationship and they just let their love to the person controls over hatred.
Being in love will let you feel that your on the happiest and loneliest moment of your life. There’s no perfect relationship. It will definitely have a point that you feel that your relationship will crash and that you can’t make it work but then there will be times that you felt your flying or your in heaven being with your love, seeing him/her beside you, seeing how happy he/she is with you, feeling the love and care their sharing with you.

Make your boyfriend fall in love with you again

Make Your Boyfriend Fall in Love With You Again Every woman wants lasting relationship with her partner. However this is not what actually happens all the time. There are times when you feel that your boyfriend is not interested in you. Not only at times, over a long relationship, we do feel that our boyfriend has lost interest in us. We go on to believe this and feel helpless in this regard. However, if you really want to make drastic improvements in your boyfriend's behavior towards you, you can! The ways to bring that spark in his eyes is not that difficult. If you want, you can even make him love you more than ever before. The key to make him do this is with you. The important thing is to understand that you have to appeal to his desires, which will make him rediscover you and make him find you more irresistible then before. The most important step is to make him feel that he is the most important person in your life.

The most healthy foods

Nothing can completely replace the need of the body of fluids, especially water. It is most useful source of moisture, but also it has other drinks that give the body many nutrients. Who are they trying to meet the authors of the article in the journal Prevention.
Soymilk
• Benefit: reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. Dietary fiber and protein contained in soy milk, reduce the level of “bad” cholesterol and triglycerides. If, however, completely replace cow milk with soy, your body will suffer from a lack of calcium and vitamins A and D. Soy contains phytoestrogens, which are probably associated with increased risk of breast cancer. If you have such cases in the family, discuss with your doctor the use of soy milk.

Helping Students Succeed at School

While school success may not necessarily be the only standard by which future success can be predicted, there is no doubt that school is important. Helping students succeed in school builds their self-esteem and helps them build the skills they need for a career and a lifetime. If you are a parent, you will of course want to ensure that you do everything possible to help your child succeed in school.
One of the largest obstacles to school performance is not lack of ability, but rather stress. When students are worried about school performance or anxious about it, it is difficult for them to recall material they have studied. Increased stress during study time also reduces the ability of the mind to focus on the work at hand and to remember accurately. Severe stress can also make children feel ill. Indeed, some children feel so upset and stressed before a test or assignment that they can actually get stomach aches, headaches, and other physical ailments. In these circumstances, it is difficult to study or to focus on academic success, and children with this level of stress may miss school, which actually makes it even harder (and more stressful) to do well in school. Children do not have to stay in this cycle, however.

Does God Say We Should Obey Our Parents?

Does God Say We Should Obey Our Parents?

In the Bible, the word 'obey' is mentioned hundreds of times. Obviously, obedience is important to God. Therefore, it should also be important to us.
Throughout the Bible, God tells children to obey their parents. In Exodus, He says: “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.” (20:12)
What exactly does it mean to honor our parents? Honoring our parents means treating them with respect, distinction and love. We are to love, cherish, trust, obey and respect our parents with a cheerful heart that wants to obey. In other words, we honor our parents by obeying them.
When Jesus was a child he obeyed his earthly parents, Joseph & Mary. By obeying them, he obeyed and pleased God. In Luke, we are told that “[Jesus] went down with [his parents] and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them.” (2:51)

History of Computers

The development of the modern day computer was the result of advances in technologies and man's need to quantify. Papyrus helped early man to record language and numbers. The abacus was one of the first counting machines..
Some of the earlier mechanical counting machines lacked the technology to make the design work. For instance, some had parts made of wood prior to metal manipulation and manufacturing. Imagine the wear on wooden gears. This history of computers site includes the names of early pioneers of math and computing and links to related sites about the History of Computers, for further study. This site would be a good Web adjunct to accompany any book on the History of Computers or Introduction to Computers. The "H" Section includes a link to the History of the Web Beginning at CERN which includes Bibliography and Related Links. Hitmill.com strives to always include related links for a broader educational experience.

Nature of Family

A friend brought my attention to a fascinating article about parenting from an evolutionary perspective. Certain kinds of politicians and religious leaders often tell us that society’s problems result from the break up of the family, but what is this ideal family formula that we should stick to? The modern ideal still seems to be the nuclear family consisting of a mother, a father, two children and a dog but is there any rationale behind this grouping or are we just drawing arbitrary lines and declaring that one size fits all? Some commentators might say that the nature of the family has changed in modern times but is the diversity of family models apparent today anything new?

Sociobiologist Professor Sarah Blaffer Hrdy of the University of California at Davis argues that ‘alloparents’ have a significant role to play in the raising of a child. An alloparent is an individual who takes care of the child while the mother is away seeking food or also one who brings sustennance for the child. An alloparent may be of either sex and may be related or unrelated. In this way, raising a child becomes an endeavour which involves a whole community of adults who all contribute to or take care of the child’s welfare. Professor Hrdy believes that this may be the reason why humans have developed to be so hypersocial. As the child learns to interact with and seek attention and care from a variety of adults, it learns to empathise and cooperate. One other advantage is that the child can still be cared for if either parent or even both are absent for some reason.

tips on studying

Tips for Effective Study
Day to Day

A. Very few students leave high school with this skill. College of DuPage's Learning Lab can help you here. Some suggestions and observations.
1.
Always take the notes for a particular class in the same notebook. Spiral bound notebooks were invented because they solved the problem of keeping related information consolidated in one place. Take advantage of this.
2. each entry into your notebook.
Date
3.
It is usually best to keep the notes for different classes separate from each other. Spiral notebooks with built in dividers are excellent for this purpose.

things to do to prevent pimples

A pimple starts when the pores in the skin become clogged with a type of oil called sebum, which normally lubricates the skin and hair. Acne is common during puberty when hormones go into overdrive, causing the skin to overproduce sebum. Because many oil-producing glands are on the forehead, nose, and chin, this area — the T-zone — is where a person is most prone to pimples.
Here are some tips to help prevent breakouts and clear them up as fast as possible:
  • Wash your face twice a day (no more) with warm water and a mild soap made for people with acne. Gently massage your face with circular motions. Don't scrub. Overwashing and scrubbing can cause skin to become irritated. After cleansing, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) recommends applying an over-the-counter (no prescription needed) lotion containing benzoyl peroxide. This will decrease oil and bacteria.
  • Don't pop pimples. It's tempting, but here's why you shouldn't: Popping pimples can push infected material further into the skin, leading to more swelling and redness, and even scarring. If you notice a pimple coming before a big event, like the prom, a dermatologist can often treat it for you with less risk of scarring or infection.

things to do to prevent global warming

1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Do your part to reduce waste by choosing reusable products instead of disposables. Buying products with minimal packaging (including the economy size when that makes sense for you) will help to reduce waste. And whenever you can, recycle paper, plastic, newspaper, glass and aluminum cans. If there isn't a recycling program at your workplace, school, or in your community, ask about starting one. By recycling half of your household waste, you can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide annually.

2. Use Less Heat and Air Conditioning

Adding insulation to your walls and attic, and installing weather stripping or caulking around doors and windows can lower your heating costs more than 25 percent, by reducing the amount of energy you need to heat and cool your home.
Turn down the heat while you're sleeping at night or away during the day, and keep temperatures moderate at all times. Setting your thermostat just 2 degrees lower in winter and higher in summer could save about 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide each year.

Human Rights

Human rights are "commonly understood as inalienable fundamental rights to which a person is inherently entitled simply because she or he is a human being."  Human rights are thus conceived as universal (applicable everywhere) and egalitarian (the same for everyone). These rights may exist as natural rights or as legal rights, in both national and international law. The doctrine of human rights in international practice, within international law, global and regional institutions, in the policies of states and the activities of non-governmental organizations has been a cornerstone of public policy around the world. It has been said that: "if the public discourse of peacetime global society can be said to have a common moral language, it is that of human rights. Despite this, the strong claims made by the doctrine of human rights continue to provoke considerable skepticism and debates about the content, nature and justifications of human rights continue to this day. Indeed, the question of what is meant by a "right" is itself controversial and the subject of continued philosophical debate.

All Souls Day and All Saint Day

When we talk about this ? This is the day to visit the people who pass away. But this is also the day that we see our relatives and celebrate with them. Before going to the cementery we prepare some foods like biko the filipino food, pansit, calamay and a lot. When we are in the cementery  we clean the grave , and after cleaning we put a candle at the grave of my Aunt, Lolo, Lola , Uncle. When all are done we are ready to open our food and eat. So the All Souls Day and All Saint Day is such an unforgettable experience in my heart.

"Dark shadow fall in the lives of us all"

SICKNESS and SORROW
come to us all
But through it we grow
and learn to "stand tall"
For trouble is "part and parcel of life"
And no man can grow
Without struggle and strife
And the more we endure with patient
and grace the stronger
We grow and the more we can face
the greater our love,
And with love in our hearts we
are more conscious of
the pain and the sorrow in lives e everywhere,
So it is through trouble that
We learn how to SHARE ..

Our favorite TAMBAYAN at the School

During recess time me and my friends stay and discuss anything while eating our snack and when the bells rings we go back to our room. After eating our lunch we buy some foods like junkfoods, lollypop, and a lot. We stay in our tambayan 9:30-9:45 and 11:50-1:00 so that pathway has a sentemental value.
When we talk about  TAMBAYAN , it is where we stay when we bored and when we have nothing to do in school.
So,that  pathway has a sentemental value for me because it is where we exchange our feelings and sharing of thoughts with my friends and always fell happy whenever we stay at our TAMBAYAN.
